Our shell and tube heat exchangers are characterized by their high efficiency.

Tube heat exchangers utilize the exhaust heat from engines, combined heat and power (CHP), turbines, heating plants or industrial machines of all kinds. Due to the energy transfer to the run in the heat exchanger shell medium such as water, oil or air, this energy can thus be supplied to the process directly again (heat recovery from exhaust, air or steam). In practice it is common to use the recovered exhaust heat to preheat combustion air in industrial furnaces, for service and process water heating or for feeding into heating buffer. We as a supplier of shell and tube heat exchangers will take into account the space required for the integration of the shell and tube heat exchangers, the material (stainless steel 1.4301 / 1.4571 / 1.4404 / 1.4828 / etc.) and the specifications of the CHP (max. back pressure on exhaust side, cable cross-sections, type), according to the requirements of the customers. The complete calculation and design of the shell and tube heat exchangers is carried out by us as manufacturer.

Generally, such an exhaust heat exchanger should always be made of stainless steel, since the start-up creates aggressive condensates. Often the shell and tube heat exchangers (exhaust heat exchangers) are installed within the CHP. The concrete space is taken into account by us and goes into the construction.

Tube heat exchangers are subject to specific operating parameters, where for example exhaust gas temperatures of over 1000 ° C may arise. According to this, a special selection of materials (stainless steel heat-resistant, stainless steel acid-resistant, …) has to be made.

Another very important criterion concerning the design of shell and tube heat exchangers is the maximum permissible back pressure predetermined by the manufacturer of the CHP. These requirements are taken into account by us. Basically, a pressure loss occurs in all components in the exhaust tract downstream of the CHP. Any possible functional disadvantages in the exhaust heat exchanger are compensated and optimized by structural measures from us.
